Hasn't been blogging since last Oct...

So many happenings along the way, Derek's back..Sis and my Birthday dinner,Christmas Party,Trip to Macau,HK and Shanghai,Chinese New Year celebration,my Promotion, Popo's passing, Valentine to Derek's convocation coming up in Perth. Lots of mixed emotions..

Seen Popo before CNY and she was fine,went Bugis temple to prayed for everyone around me in the coming new year.. to blessed my loved ones. I believe in my religion... Popo, you are blessed, you left so peacefully...and of course all who prayed for you in the name of Christ.

Am feeling a little off now, if you can tell... I am confused.. about what I want,my belief, myself...and sometimes I start to get frust, not about anybody but myself...
I need to do something, not talk about it but at least, blog it down to relief myself...I will be there for myself!

Life is always full of regrets but Live strong!I believe...

Events to be happy about!

Entering into our 7th year with Derek! 30th Sept 2001 -7 years ago...okie.. u did suprise me with Mart and the rest sudden turn up at my place with your hand written card and sweets from Perth. Although there was some hipcups in your plans-the flowers u ordered came a day late, Mart forgetten about the perfume..dont be too upset k..I know your lovely intentions.:>

Had a cheese cake making session with my friends and sis during the Hari Raya holiday. They were over at my place and we prepared Oreo cheese cake, my first attempt at it together with Jermaine..Suporn was our teacher for the day, the receipe came from her..ahahhaa. All turned out well.. just a little too sweet but I definitely know what to do the next time..On the other hand, I dont think I will be eating cheese cake that often now that i know how sinful and fattening it is..Can you imagine..Philidelphia cheese, whipped cream and loads of sugar, butter!!!

Next on my to do list- sushi making- I need a 'shifu' for this, car washing this weekend! KTVing with my siss on my coming off day.. three rest day in a row- Thur, Fri and Sat, yeah! Counting down to my baby's return! 71 more days!;>

Finally, another milestone in my life! My Graduation!-28 Aug 2008!
Yeah! Bsc Business (Economics & Finance) to my name. Derek flew back from Perth to attend my convocation!Spent a lovely short week together, once again thanks for disrupting my scheduled week. Wasnt expecting anything but to my pleasant surprise, received a graduation gift from Derek's mum! Its a all-diamond bracelet from TianPo jewelery and received a card from MeiLing(she cant be here because she got a tutorial in Uni) with drawings of my graduation with our family and Derek in it.( thanks for ur thoughtfulness, this pic means a lot to me) Both cost- Priceless!

I am considering doing my Masters in a year time...Reaching for another milestone in my life!

Derek's surprise visit back in June was indeed pleasant! But I ended up having to rush out our pictorial book meant for his birthday present! Nevertheless, I managed to complete it before meeting him on sat,14 Jun after my Zoo Outing with Dad and LJ!
Treasured this one month with you even though you 'upset' my routine life and my plans..Caused me to put on almost 3 kg!hahah! (You are in a worse state than me, hahah)
Got a new hairstyle- finally got my bangs after deciding for damm long..Derek says I must be like an angel to match my innocent look..hahaha!(almost puke!)
Sent Derek away for the third time and hopfully the last time before you graduate end of the year! I am waiting!

Anyway, my convocation is this Aug, 29th! Yeah! Finally!

DBS Children Charity Run!

Went for our own DBS Charity Run for the Singapore Children's Society on a Sunday morning with my colleages. Donated $30 for a good cause! It was held at Bishan Park, ran for about 30 mins, around 5 km with Jermaine... Suporn gave up after the first 100m! and Li Chien didn't even join us because of too much majong the night before!!
Was running along with this weird lady- find her weird because she was always trying to speed up and overrun me whenever I get near! I noticed, not on one occassion but three! I wasnt even running the competitive race but cant take it when she did that again for the third time so this time round i gave her no chance and sprinted on the last 100m....leaving her no chance to catch up at all!! hahahahah!
That girl looks so untoned, she was wobbling away as she runs even though she is slimer than me. I MUST definitely keep fit and toned! I dont want to be a jelly wobbling away..
Am considering some salsa or yoga classes now!

Fish Spa @ Qian Hu with family!

Its' $10 for half an hour, haha! its ticklish at first but soon you will get use to the nibbles from the fishes from the sucker fish family. Wish that your feet attract lots of fishy because its mean more value for money. hahah!
My mum attracted the most number coz she has tons of dried skin around her soles, ML had the least.
A little out of the way though, but quite a good place to visit-especially if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city...
Reminds me of a kampong there..;)

get the best seats and it was indeed worth it to see them up close.. I was initially not very keen on this concert but since my two darling sisters are going so i joined them.hahah!;> Love their songs- especially " XIAO TAI YANG"! Saw Alvin Ng there too!

Went shopping even before my Exams and GREAT singapore sale!

Brought so many things, got my Burberry bag,Coach handbag, ML's coach bleecker canvas-, LJ's coach soho signature,gucci, tag F1...WOW! LOVE it! Retail therapy is GOOD!! CAnt wait for Joyce to come back and thanks for getting me my Coach wristlets!

Just read and found out that Deborah de Souza- Live 93.8 presenter passed away yesterday fighting terminal stomach cancer, and in her last four months choosing to enjoy quality of life over quantity,she chose not to go for the usual cancer treatment- no chemo, no drugs.. just herbs and believe in nature healing.. A Brave and independent lady indeed!

Time files... 2007 is coming to an end and a new year coming. Not knowingly, Derek has completed his first year in Perth and me- a busy year of working and studying, enjoying myself a little traveling around.

Done with Judy's big day. Lots of fun that day..Both of you look fabulous!! Love your red evening gown especially!! The photo montage and video clip are very well done.Great working with the sisters!!Karen, Sharon, Stella, Sherleen and Vanessa too!!Got to thank my colleague for doing my nails for me the night before..

Finally, things are more or less settled after my exams, now I can arrange for my Lasik surgery to be done and Volia!! no more lens after that!!! Next, have to plan for my USA
holiday with Derek..Shopping in Los Angeles, California, Will be staying in Beverly Hills- Hilton and Caesars Palace in Las Vegas- a place where it is virtually bright through out day and night.I done my research already- popular nearby tourist attractions are Hoover Dam and Lake Mead (the largest man-made lake in the U.S.), Lake Mojave, the Mt. Charleston Recreation Area, Red Rock Canyon, and the Death Valley National Monument. Must definitely buy Victoria secret and Coach there.. already got so much orders from friends.. Cant wait to travel to States!! But too bad,its bear market out there now, if not, I will be able to spend more with my profits..

Time to do something to my hair.. been wanting to change a new hairstyle but I am struggling to keep it long or cut them short...My long hair has been with me since 10 years ago...But just afraid that short hair will be a disaster for me.How???
Doing up my place also.. getting a fresh coat of paint after 6 years!!Shall I get a red and black room , romantic purple or electric pink room??And off goes my study table and welcome my new book shelves!! Yeah!! New room for new Year!!

Two weeks flew past in the wink of eyes.. Derek is returning to Perth!
We both have a big hurdle ahead- our Exams!! My results are slipping and I am not going to let the same thing happen this semester!!Hmmm...Must beat Derek's results of 3 H.Dist. When he goes back, i am going to study real hard for my papers.

Had a great getaway at Sentosa for our 6th Anniversary! :)Wonderful room and feel!
Got somebody to impressed? Heres the place- Siloso Beach Resort, Roof Garden Suite.

Spent some quality time with Derek and family, dad's 57th birthday,and now its time to start planning for my US trip in Dec, lasik and maybe braces.. Yeah!!

Finally a break after my project assignment, tests and working non stop since my Perth trip.. Relieved!DereK is back for two weeks for his cousin's wedding and of course for our 6th anninvesary!! Celebrating it at SIloso beach resort- roof garden suite which offers a private roof top garden with a Jacuzzi where we can rejuvenate and enjoy the magnificent view of the sea and the tropics. the place sounds ideal for a romantic getaway..

Dad's bdae is round the corner, Jude 's wedding coming up, exams are near....so many events to keep me busy till Derek homecoming in Nov again. By then, hopefully, I can prepare for the holiday to US!

So sorry that i cant meet up with anyone of you but to update you guys thru the blog if u are reading it. hehe!But feel free to approach me if i am of any help!! Reading thru a few of your blogs, seems that every one is so busy to get life going...ya, keep it going and live it to the fullest every moment!!

Wonderful family trip to Perth!

"How ya doing?" was the commonly used greeting there... then there was no worries...
HAd a Fantastic time there with Derek and my family, we went to more places during this trip - a road trip down South to the southern most point of the continent where the Indian and Southern ocean meets..marvellous view there and all the scenic drive.Map reading and getting lost was fun...Perth is a city of many rainbow i suppose.. we saw so many, lose count along the way!!came back with a big carton from all our shopping!!! lotsa bags, shoes,clothings...
Had the coolest BBQ ever at MAraget River in Winter...imagine wearing jacket and jeans at the BBQing...hahah!!And had the most expensive breaky at Blue Duck Restaurant along Cottesloe.. Almost $150 sing and this is the place where i took a dip during my last trip in MAy and I just found out that there was a shark attack last Aug from DEREK...IDIOT right!!if I had known..Oh ya, and I got kick by a goat while feeding them in the enclosure @ the wildlife park, DAMM!!!haha, just a light one..Well, better dont bored you guys with our trip details. Some photos for viewing!!

Anyway, its back to work now..the bank is super busy with the GST offset package.
And now to shares.. bgt a super strong share that earns me $600 with a capital of only $720... hahahah!!!

2nd time in Perth still leave me with the same carefree feeling but an extra longing to stay there longer because Derek is there. I love the place!I miss his presence!But he needs to do what he got to do. Its a short trip this round.Gained some new experience travelling alone, going thru the stringent Australia immigration and finally to see Derek. He got a nice apartment and car there. Glad to see that he is managing everything very well. His accommodation, his social circle there, his diet and most importantly his studies. The craziest thing that i have done for this trip is to swim in the sea at 17 degree, That is the first and last time i am going to swim in the ocean. The waves there are super high and strong, a little too scary for my liking!! I Cant wait to fly down again in June for the family trip. Will be bringing them to Cicerellos' to have their yummy fish n chip with vinegar and salt in the awesome by the sea setting, making a road trip to Margaret River, driving in Australia... Barbecue over there in winter.. hmmm..sounds nice. Sis has been pestering to organiser a BBQ. exciting!!Its will be mid winter by then, a little worried as to whether my parents can adapt to the weather. After this trip, i will only see him in late Sept again!;( He is coming back for his cousin's wedding. Long wait!

As for now, quite eager to know my results for my papers, have to wait till jun 6. Long wait again!

Finally, my exam is ending soon. One more paper to go on thur, 10th May and I am all set for Perth!!! Leaving right after my paper, i am going to enjoy this 6 days with Derek. But he will be busy preparing for his exams. HAhA!! i finished mine! Going to spend this 6 days, going to uni with him,shopping,cooking,relaxing on the field, jogging by the river, swimming in the Indian ocean, enjoying every moment with him.
I am going to plan out an iternary for our family trip this coming June! Maybe farm stay, river cruise, wine and chocolate tasting etc..Whole lots of fun awaiting!!Sis is going to enjoy the weather there, hopefully, dad and mum can take it as well. Winter is coming and weather is turning cold.

Just watched Britney's CrossRoad on tv the other day and had so much thoughts on it. Missed out that adventure seeking period in my life. Had never really pursue what i want in life. So i might be joining baby in Australia once i finished my studies here. Forget about the 10 grand scholarship from DBS.Anyway, its bull market out there, made some from the stock market... Not getting any younger so better do something for myself. One life, Live it, right?

Went to Harbin and Shanghai with Derek for 9 days. Really enjoyed this winter trip- the snow, cold, skiing,shopping and lots of funny incidents that happened during the holiday.
ShArE ONe WITH YOU GUYS.

We were on the domestic flight (Shanghai Airlines) from Shanghai to Harbin with a harbin local sitting beside us. We were having our meal on flight, we had some snacks, bread and muffin. Then this jokER opened up the sealed bag of muffin, then opened another small packet of something and sprinkled it all over his muffin and he started eating it.
When we saw it, Derek was thinking why was there black seseame on his muffin and not ours. I saw this small packet with the muffin and its written : DEOXIDIZER. I opened it up and true enough, it was black in colour. Afer a while,the man went silence and still- he must be feeling the effects!FUNNY!!

Some photos from Superstar Virgo!!! So sweet of them to prepare a birthday cake for dad!!

Yeah! Exams are finally over and got my hair permed at Kimage. Went to relax with my friends once our exams ended. We caught a movie at The Cathey- Dead or Alive, an enjoyable show with a different story line full of babes and action... Tried out the hot yoga lesson at Pure-yoga with sis. Nice place to relax the mind and body in the 38 c room.

There are so much things that I want to do- Got some maintetance to do... going for dental,facials, shopping, gathering with friends, packing my super messy room- my wardrobe is falling apart!Hunting for a new PDA phone, prepare my resume for my new job. Time to learn something new..And ya, to get into shape because i have been putting on weight since my Perth trip.

Derek is away in Hong Kong-Zhu Hai. Hopefully he gets some nice bags for me.
Been a driver today driving my family around in the west and now I can understand why Derek complains when go around the whole of Singapore.

I will be going for photo shoots for my customer along with my colleague. It will be an outdoor shoot but venue is not known yet. I will have the chance to shoot in Vietnamese costume etc. Hopefully, it will be fun experience.

Been busy recently and super lazy to blog. That explains why my blog is so back dated, Sorry! I missed Perth!!Its such a nice place, cool weather...will definitely be bringing my family there when Derek is there studying.

Its dad's birthday tomorrow. We are all going cruise on Superstar Virgo to celebrate this occassion!And of course Lantern Festival! Everyone except Ling because she is having her mid semester exams. Derek is joining!! Yippee!! A short trip to relax before I bury myself in the books... exams coming! I have the feeling that I wont do very well for my papers, this semester went very fast and before I knew it- its examination. Have no time to revise as we are short of manpower. As usual... I dont even have the time to visit any hair salon, thinking of perming my hair.

Just celebrated our 5th Anniversary with Derek on the 30th. We had a pinic dinner at East coast with the delicious food that he prepared. Cant do it together as I end work only At 4pm that Sat. He is still as thoughtful as before, doing all the stuff for me. I will be missing all these while you are away studying. Cant wait to join you after my degree course here.

Back from holidays in Hong Kong. Super tiring and the weather is crazy. Their Summer sale and vacation is on so there are so many people. Ran into two of my friends there. Such a small world!! Spent all my S$1000 there. Didn't expect to spent all of it. Food there is expensive, just one bowl of noodle cost HKD40.00 which is S$8. Fashion wise, its ok but most shops there have no fitting rooms. The locals just buy and go. I am so used to trying out the clothes first. Same old problem with the shoes- nice but the sizes are too small!! Got to try the egg tarts from KFC. Yummy!!!

Free and easy- Langham Placea and Ladies Market on the first day.

Shopped for SK II products! it is much cheaper over there. The sales staff are all very friendly except for some communication problem cause I dont speak or understand Cantonese. I have made up my mind to pick up cantonese and Malay- to be mutli-lingual. Berkenstock are also cheaper there compared to Singapore! Brought one for myself. thinking of buying one for Derek but he just brought one here. While I was in HOng Kong shopping away, he also went on a shopping spree. He told me he spent almost $800.00 on Tag Heaur specs, one berkees and two shirts from G2000. Not bad huh!keep it up! We discovered a very good place that served very good wanton mee. its really delicious- the noodle is really Q with 5 big prawn dumpling.Reasonably priced too!

I thought missing someone is sad enough but i never imagine having a quarrel shortly after i come back with that someone. Its so heart-breaking. Why do this to me. I just want to end the day sweetly. I hate to go through the cycle again but its a curse that is always there. The same feeling is coming back. I dont want to feel like a loser. I need the support from you,tell me where can i find the love that i need.

Will be away in Hong Kong for 5 day during 2nd week of july- Our family Trip this year.Cant wait for this break to come but i will miss some of my lessons.
Must go to their peak- heard that its really beautiful, the Ocean Park, we will give Disney Land a miss.Its S$60 per person and I dont think my parents will enjoy it. There's Shopping- tips from colleauge, get the shopping guide in the Airport. There are discount Coupons in it!!

Time files. We are already half year into year 2006.. Our family trip is finally settled. We are going to Hong Kong for 5 days in July. It will be a free and easy trip with half day city tour.Cant wait to visit new countries and bring my parents around!

I have a decision to make,(baby pls dont be angry or think too much k.)
Someone just pass me a supplementary card application form frm Citibank. My semester is going to start soon, going to be busy again. ..did fairly reasonable last round, got two dist and one credit. hope to maintain my results...

There is so much more that i want to say but i will continue some other day, I am going to watch the World Cup match now!!! I BET!!

Hey, I am in a very cheery mood these few days. Work have been good, baby has been good, sis got admitted to both the University of her choice-NationAl Uni of Singapore and National Technological Uni... but my pay pocket has shrink a little. Sales had been bad therefore no commission.Sianz! It Great Singapore Sale, baby's birthdaY, FRIEND'S wedding...Urghh!i dont want to touch my savings,budget is a little tight!

I really did a lot of stuff this week. Went threading with sisters at Clementi. It was our first try at it. A new and different experience, feels like a penknife cutting your skin but not as painful...Its really takes a pair of very skillful hand and mouth to do the job.
Had sushi buffet at Sakae sushi with LJ. Its our "must go" whenever we have off days together.Yummy! Enjoyed the sushi!

HAD a different and wonderful weekend! Finally went to the musical fountain on Sat after much postponing. Its the new laser musical fountain show,so crowded and there was a long queue for it. I still prefer the old original show. Missed the romantic music, colours and water. The feeling is totally different altogether.

My first time at ESKI bAR- IT was really cool at -17 degrees. Take a look at the chic white winter jacket. Wish I could bring it home.

Its over!!! Feeling kind of relieved now, can focus on my work and on enjoying myself and learning JApanese from my sister. Spent some time on our new Oto Trimax- its for Mother's DAy and for the family. I was thinking if i should make plans on Vesak Day because things always go hay wire for me when i have plans. Curse!!!

Been at home since i finished my paper in the morning, was hopping to go out but once again for someone, going out for a few hours equals "better not to meet up". I just dont get it, Why cant we just spend one or two hours together if you can go out at 10 plus and meet up with your friends for a little while. Isn't it the same? We can meet there and I can make my way back home...staying at home the whole day make me feel sick. Feels like a caged animal- sianz!! DAmm!!! Should have gone out to karaoke with my friends.The next time,I am going my fill up my empty space with workie!

Ok, its complaining session for me now.
Its been a long time since i felt pampered. I want attention! MEOW!!!!
Our 4th year and 7th mth just past silently perhaps you didn't even notice it. How I wish for a new relationship now! Dont be mistaken, I dont need a new boyfriend, what I want is the lovely dovely feeling that i enjoyed years ago. I HATE matured relationship.
This month, I am going to be very busy at work with the heaviest quarterly and monthly duties on my hands. Poor me- I can see myself going home late for the whole of the month.

To korea or Australia? In July or October? There is just too little time for people to enjoy life becausr we bloodly need to work! You need a job to survive in this world. Its back to the same old problem/question/shortage whatever... Money!!! I am sick of the rat race.

Thanks to my exam period, i managed to enjoy the long Labour Day weekend. Only need to be back to work on Wednesday.

Went on a road trip to MAlacca with Derek and friends. We had 3 cars with 9 of us hitting the North South highway.It took us more than two and a half hours to reach this small town. Max speed? 160km/hr. Min speed? less than 10km/hr- jam due to road works. The trip there was fun because I am not the driver, while Derek was driving through the rain, the sun and rain. I was busy snacking and taking short naps. We set off after lunch and when we reached,it was already around 5pm. We took a walk around St Paul hill, took pictures ..saw the famous windmill because of the Portugal history there. Our search for the Famous Nonya restaurant begin when it was close to dinner. Ww walked and walked, asking the locals for directions. Finally around what I felt was damm long (an hour for walking?), we found the place, feeling tired, hot and sticky. Restaurant BiBIk Neo!We ordered lot, ate alot and to me who is one that is not very picky about food- it all taste the same so its doen't matter whether it is famous anot. Except for those really lousy food which I can still tell.. After dinner, we went to the night market for some shopping. Its was 12 midnight when we left Malacca, another 2 and a half hours drive back to Singapore. I especially enjoyed the trip back with the many stars shinning up in the sky.it was just a beantiful sight, we dont get to see in Singapore night. Using the second link really helps, no causeway jam to worry about. But we got stuck at the checkpoint, the officers wanted to do a thorough check on our car, took out everything for them. Everything went on well and fine and by the time we cleared, it was 3.41am.

Back to studying,I had cleared two papers, now I am left with the final one on Monday,8 May. I am so eager to know my results... I know my stats isn't going to be good.its going to be a long wait to 6 Jun. By then, baby's birthday will be round the corner. I must quickly request for my off on that DAY!!
Planning for my block leave for July and October.Hopefully, nothing will crop up at work because we are planning for our next family trip to Australia or Korea.( still deciding)

Another long weekend is coming, thanks to the polling Day, 6 MAy is made a Public Holiday which is also my sister's birthday!! Going to pig out at SAkura- the new outlet at Science Center, we are celebrating Mother's Day in advance for this occasion as well ,so baby, you must come along k. This is going to burn a hole in LJ and my pocket with the presents for ML and mum and the dinner but its all worth it for the family.:)

One more public holiday on the coming week, 12 MAy- Vesak Day. Yeah!!! I can truly enjoy it because my Exams are over!!!!
Forget to mention that I have a new Love!!! He is Sandy, he is so cute and lovable. Just wanna hug him the whole day.Ok, he is Derek's sister new doggie.

My poor lttle hamster died. :"( He died of illness, from some growth on his stomach.
Received a call from my sister when i was at work and she was like crying coz she knew that our hamster is not going to make it already. Poor hamster, he was suffering at the last moment, I could see the pain, he was lying there,twitching around. I was with him through out but there is nothing i can do, he was bleeding from the growth... and finally after struggling for 30 mins, he left.

I told myself that i am not going to be a pet owner again, its was such a horrible moment, so sad..Baby assured that all hamsters go to heaven.

Finally, got to write down my first blog using my new laptop.Its a Samsung from my baby- owned me since my last bdae.On top of it, I got a new Olympus-u mini together with the bundle.
Finally, April come and I am clearing my annual leave, family leave and exam leave, a less stressful month ahead! Yeah!
Finally, my exams are coming. Wanna aim High Distinction for all three modules!!
Finally, went clubbing after such a long break, I really enjoyed last Sat with my baby and friends.Had great fun letting my hair down even though I had hangover on Sun.He really took care of me. I know you are someone who I can depend on...Love you!

So excited about the progress package coz its like a big Ang bao from the Govt. Hmmm..I can use the money to cover my ticket to Perth. Actually, I quite like the plan to go on the long Labour Day weekend but its in the middle of my papers. TAke a trip down country road with my baby... how nice?!Hmmmm...

Going to work tomorrow and I am looking forward to it!!! I MUST love my job!!

Losing it all!!!

Feel so happy for my friends who are so in love, getting married and all. Best wishes to all around me, stay sweetly in love! As for me, this is the time when i am feeling down, at rock bottom. I feel that I am losing whatever i HAve. My career, my relationship, my Sanity... I am going crazy, i think or is it the Big "D". I never think that this will happen to me But it feel so close and so threatening near.Everything is leaving me, its so scary, I just cant bear the thoughts... staring into the night, is it better to end everthing...??

Work is so stress, I can feel me breaking, nobody is helping me, I need a pair of hands to pull me along, guide me pls. I am beginning to think whether am I losing my faith in my relationship, all the tension in me is affecting everything i do. Am we fated to share only part of the journey but not throughout the road to eternity.
Arrr.. I dont know what am I thinking right now, I dont know whether it make sense...I am so lost-was that the last stroke on my head? the last touch from you?

Nobody is to be blamed, you treated me well. Its just that I do not know how to control my feeling and handle the situation...

Back from BAngkok, everything is peaceful in bangkok city although there was news report on Channel New Asia that there is bombing in Thailand when we were at the boarding gate.Scary!! Its was fun shopping but the weather is freaking hot there and Derek was like complaining non stop. Tired tired, hot hot, leg pain, back pain... guys... Jude, sorry,didnt manage to get you the bag. Our next trip should be in Nov, bringing my parents to either Beijing or Hong Kong.I am hopping to go Japan but have to see the situation then. Sis is going Tibet with her colleauges in July, how i wish that i have extra leave to join them- back packing.

My exams are comming, GGRRRRR... 3 papers, gonna aim for Distinction!!Besides studying, I am a little confused now as to where should i head for my career. I dont seem to see any career path with my current job. Just got my variable bonus- its like peanuts. Sianz! Any advice on my career switch?

Lastly, Dearie, dont keep thinking of the negatives, there may be something good at the end of it.

Hey, a long break from blogging. Now, back to blogging since I have the time now. Its Saturday today and I am feeling bored.Suppose to have dinner with tarts and judy but Jude is sick,so its cancelled. Get well soon,jude. Lets talk about something happy first before i start complaining.

During the new year, I received a new HAndphone as a present- was deciding between Atom O2 or motorola pink Razer but in the end, i chose on the latter. sort of regretted now. Actually,we almost brought a solitare ring for thousand plus from Lee Hwa, its was 0.5 carat- very beautiful but not very right leh from another guy.

Some more happy happenings,

One customer commented that I looked like korean ,which my colleauges say I looked a bit Jap and Korean. Kum san ha mi daz. Another said that i have slimmed down which i feel i did because of my degree course but till now nobody said anything yet... not even him- shithead!
And I just took my Prices and Market test got 17/20. thats 85%! Yeah!! Thought that it was damm hard but hehe, get managed to guess correctly.

Ok, now for the sad part, I am so demoralized at work. Sianz, suffer a shortage again, thought that things are getting better but haiz, low morale liao lah. Why am I so careless!!!! SUCKS!!!! I am already feeling so terrible but nobody bothers. HE is not with me when i need him last night..
V. day nothing much to talk about... Its a sad thing actually for a couple coz you no longer have so much feeling and passion or is it you dont have that heart thumping moment anymore...

Whew! Finally, new year is here and soon over in another 12 more days to celebrate.
After a super crazy and busy period at work, i finally get to enjoy the the New year holidays. Its so difficult attending to the rich- was sitting at the Treasures counter for the month of JAn. Heard and seen so many unresonable requests and you can see the long and winding queue with all the frowning black- faced customers. What made the queue worse was the introduction of the new polymer $2 notes...Killer!
There was a shortage of stock and we have to reject customers. Sianz!

Received my first Ang Bao frm my uncle-its his first time giving ang bao. Quite a big one. heehee! We had steamtboat for reunion dinner on new year eve- so yummy and then its playing cards and manjong with the family. Have been eating way too much during these few days, gotta lose the kilos soon after the new year. Went to catch "I not stupid 2" , its a really good show, so funny, touching and real. Strongly recommended. Yeah! I have another day to rest because its my off day tommorrow and going for a high tea at Shangri la- treat from a customer, hopefully i can collect more red packets.

Here is a special thanks to Derek, for the past two years, we are zipping around in his Vios and with me as the driver for the family. So convenient! Haven meet Derek since New year eve, hianz...
Anyway, to all my friends, HAppy New year!! HAve a good year ahead!!

Its my off day tomorrow, been very busy ib the bank these few days. Finally,I can get a good rest tomorrow. Going to shop for my new year clothes... Derek is away in Shanghai, and I missed him. Got his car for the whole week, dont worry- your car is still sound and safe in my hands. heehee.. Thx for shortening my travelling time from work to SIM because I have 4 lessons straight in a row by the foreign lecturer. I am waiting to meet him next tuesday to see what he got for me in Shanghai (realistic right? that's me!) Can't wait for him to come back.

Chinese New Year is round the corner and my room is only half packed, hopefully, its wont be like last year cause I only pack my room the day before Chinese New Year Eve, Horrible!!

Resolutions for the new year!

1. It's every women yearly resolution to stay slim and pretty!
2. To have a quarrel-free relationship but not very possible cause we just did first thing this morning. Sigh!
3. To excel and succeed in my work and studies...
4. To live a happier and more fulfilling person

Even though my holidays are spoilt early today, i still hope 2006 will be a better year for me.Felt so disappointed when my plans for today had to be cancelled cause i woke up today with much anticipation to meet my baby today. I even packed my bag nicely for it. Haiz,dont talk about it anymore.

I will be extremely busy this year, cause I have to juggle between my work which is so time-consuming, my degree course and my part-time tuition.But with my superd time management skill, I am confident that I can handle it.

These two weeks had been very eventful for me with my birthday first , then Christmas, then the New Year. Received my most expensive present besides my sponsored driving lesson from Derek last year, Its all diamond Aquaracer from Tag Heuer which is a hefty $4500.00 from mY Beloved Sista- LIjun.But got it with a vey good discount with the help of Derek's friend's mum. Heehee, compared to what i brought for her- creative Zen Neon, its like hmmm... (decided to get one more present for her). NExt is a laptop from Derek but I have yet to receive it. Then its a $600 Angbao from my ex-workplace customer, uesd it to buy a LG- DVD recorder for the family. Spent my Christmas and New Year playing MAnjong just learnt from Hui yun
this Christmas eve.So I will have more avenue to entertain myself during Chinese New Year and win more $$$.

Made In TaIwan!!

Na Ru Wan!!!
Hello, guys, Thats a common greeting from the 12 tribal group in Taiwan!I am now blogging from Taiwan- in the business center of Chuto Plaza Hotel,its a five star hotel with super big rooms. We have four beds for 3 pax and mum and dad had 2 queen size bed each. We will be leaving Taiwan in about 2 hours time, catching the 3pm flight.

Its not very cold here in the day, it is quite sunny like Singapore but when night falls around 5 plus, the weather turns windy and chilly. For the past 6 days, we been travelling alot in the coach.We travelled a lot on the mountainous road, fantastic scenery there, there are many works of nature and i feel so close to it.

Next few days consist of lots of shopping - their local products, new fashion( but not much to buy too coz they are selling winter clothing now, the shoes are very nice but damm it their largest size is 24. which i cant fit in, i need a 25 at least! But luckily i managed to find one finally.
Baby, I couldn't find anything for you except one cushion pillow for your car.

Block leave over...
Back from tangkat- Malaysia... Almost 8-10 years since LJ and I last went back. Everything is still the same but years have leave a mark on everyone, kids have grown up and our aunties and uncles have aged.. but is a joyeous occasion. Everyone come together for my uncle's wedding.

These few days in the bank is horrible... its month end, on a monday and on the eve of a public holiday!!! God!! The customer queue for bloody 2 hours before they cleared the curvy long queue and reached the counters.
Our manager went mad after realising that some of my colleauges cant balance at day end after the 8 hrs long battle.She started raising her voice, nagging at us and treats us like small kids. Stupid!! But the best thing was all of us were just laughing it off.
Got a free movie voucher for the referral challenge.Yeah!
Lets stop here for my work..

Holiday!
Next trip to look forward is our family trip to Taiwan!! not going to ski in Korea anymore. We are gearingl ourselves for some serious shopping but heard frm my friends that things there are not cheaper than in Singapore.

Just celebrated our 4th yr together. Seems just days ago...time files.frm being lovely dovely, our relationship has grow and mature. The feeling that day i would say is very different from what i had during our 1st, 2nd and 3rd yr together.
How should i describe it, nothing to be extra happy about, no very loving mood, nothing to anticipate.. but i guess its just how a relationship progress when you have spend years together.
Anyway, He picked me up frm work and we had dinner at Shangri-La The Line. think i bump ito someone there...he looked so familiar but i could'nt comfirm.

Dad's 55th birthday

Its on the 7th oct! Great! the whole family is taking time off for his birthday, Derek is invited.Going to get him a handphone as a present.He had always wanted a new phone. But the family will be receiveing bigger present coz he will be getting his cpf soon. A family car is coming our way... Yeah! although, LJ and me will be settling the monthly instalments.

Going to Malaysia for my uncle's wedding.

Finally he is getting married after so long, no longer young, you know, almost in his mid thirties, just how long do you want to keep your financee waiting? Will be away for three days frm 21st to 23rd oct. Goodie!!! a short get away frm work!staying away in the rural country side, de stress my tired mind and body.

Family trip to korea at the end of Nov

Winter @ korea!! So excited, we will be skiing and enjoying the natural hot spring, doing shopping and yes! the cultural experience. But its will be damm bloody cold there, better get all our winter gear ready..

I have changed my mind frm Unisim to UOB at MDIS. Decided that i prefer their course better. If everything is ok, should be starting classes in Dec. Already gotten approval frm my bank for their Examination Bounus Award. In this case, I can get a reimbursement of $8k. Thats quite a lot for a poor girl like me..Heehee.

And guys i am feeling much better now but you know, its a on and off kind of thing... dont worry.:)

Experiencing Failure!

Failure!!!

God help me, this word is too much for me to bear. Today , I quarralled with everyone around me. I am feeling so rotten and sick now. I think this is the second time that i find this feeling choking. Its pushing me right up to my limits. I dont mind passing on to get myself out of this shit!!
Yes, it sound serious and its so personal that i dont want to blog it but i really need an avenue to let out.
It seems to me that everything around me is a failure.....lets talk about the first blow, my career, its stressing and tiring me out, no matter how hardworking or helpful i am, i can never stand out but only be taken advantage of. Come on, be fair to me. I am not asking for anything but just getting a equal treatment.If you have read my previous blog, you will know that my manager sucks!!Big time!!

Second blow.. my plans to take up my degree course. I am not getting the support that i need and expected from my family. What is my dad thinking of when he told me to continue working when he knows abt my studying plan. Do you really think that a Diploma is sufficient and enough to get your through your career for the rest of your life!? I am still so damm angry when i think of what he said. Anyway, I will come up with my own course fees. I will continue to be as independent as how i was 6 years ago.Guy, please pray for me.

Third blow- Relationships
This part is tricky, i have to admit that i am very bad in handling relationships. Be it family bond (sisters), social circle (friends) or boyfriend, its all in a big mess. My interpersonal skills really sucks, my EQ sucks, eveything abt me, I am such a failure. Is it because i have been so well protected or avoiding for the past three years and now when i really need to face up to failure, i cant accept it and i have no clue how to handle it.

Its eveything that i do, i just cant seem to do it right.Its been a long time since i really let go and enjoy myself,I only remember how i lied to myself and keep avoiding the repeated issues, how to be a happy me again? I think i am hitting the rock bottom of my life, the same feeling i experienced 5 years ago or maybe even worse. Help!!

Been busy and lazy this month, that explains my monthly blog!

Branch manager's treat!

We had dinner at Hyatt- Straits kitchen, ard $45++. They serve local cuisine from hawker fare to keuh, deserts ...yummy! Highlight of the dinner was the dumpling soup, Delicious!!! long queue for it!!
And once again Derek became my driver of the night after the dinner. heehee!
But my reccommendation will be the one at Ritz Carlton , serve international buffet, nice ambience, but a bit on the steep side, $60+++ per head.

Met up with my Sec school friend

She's back on a vacation from her studies in States, also one of the earliest among my friends to get married. Another one in Sept. Feel so happy for them,.We went to Esplanade for dinner, then we went to City space @ Westin for drinks. Its @ the top of Westin and the night view is awesome!Will be going back there again to NewAsia bar this coming Wed before she flys back. Its was really funny talking about the old days in school and to see how everyone change. And the crazy photo taking session returns...
Sad thing is my baby couldn't meet me that night, coz he need to send one of his buddies to the hospital!! Emergency!!;{ Ya, but shows that he is a worthly friend right?

Planning my futher studies,

Looking at most of my friends, all pursuing their studies. I am going to start soon. Went ard checking out with my colleauge and Jie Lin, but still struggling to come up with a decision on which insitution, Unisim or MDIS?
Will be doing business courses, most probably Finance or Accounting.

Off day, Rest day!

Ya, its my off day but my throat is not resting!! Went for a 5 hour KTV singing session with LJ! Ya, its was fun and we even smugggle food in to snack on!

Off to sunny Sentosa, with LJ and Sam...we just typically go there to sleep.HahA!!
What else can we do on a little island. Maybe we should plan to go hiking at Pulau Ubin!? Any takers?

Guys,
its my off day today, so got to update my blog before I go last minute shopping before the Great Singapore Sale ends. And I promised ML to get her the latest Harry Porter book with my MPH book voucher. So here goes,

Batam Getaway.

Phew! Just planning for a 2 days trip takes a lot of effort. Got a successful application for the DBS bungalow in Batam but not Bintan. Decided to go batam to give it another chance. Went with my two darling sisters and baby!

The whole trip was well beyond my expectation, although there was no bungee for us to get around the resort premises like what my colleague said in BIntan but the bungalow itself was superb! There is two well furnished bedrooms, a full equipped kitchen, and a nice little backyard in a very homely county setting. Jude! It’s a pity you can’t join us, if not, I am sure you’ll like it too.

Shopping in Batam city was also quite rewarding! The stuffs are very cheap, its S$ 1 to 5000 plus rupee. We brought accessories, clothes, and many pairs of shoes, all below S$10!!! Think it’s even cheaper than shopping in Bangkok.

It’s a short trip just a weekend there, but it was something which all of us needed coz we are all stuck in the crazy rat race, haha! Not so relevant for Derek and Mei Ling coz one is serving the nation and one is doing her A levels. But LJ, bet you’ll agree with me. Damm the rat race!

Cousin Wedding

My cousin is just happily married after 8 years of courtship. It’s a wedding lunch on a Sunday @ Regent. Never attended a wedding lunch before, it’s quite like banquet dinner and the service provided is very fast and professional. Friends, who are thinking of tying the knot soon, can consider. Hee! I must say it’s a very special arrangement for this wedding as even the traditional tea ceremony is done at the hotel, actually bringing a lot of convenience to the family members for both sides.

Guys, I never know that Jay Chou is so dashing till I watch this movie. It’s a great show! There’s this movie poster with his Super handsome picture on it, how I wished I can take it home. HeeHee. What else can I say about the show, my sister watched it twice, one of my colleague got so attracted to the cars and went to a car show @ Expo. Hmmm… comparing it to War of the World, which I watched yesterday, There’s no fight. I think the movie is quite ridiculers, except the part on a father’s duty and responsibility.

Club Hopping

It’s a Wed night! Got a Thurday off so I can go clubbing on Ladies nite! Went Club hopping @ Clarke quay and M.S. with my sis and her colleagues. We went Onenitestand, Attric, newsroom, O bar, doubleO, C.U. and Mdm Wong. Nothing happening except that we ‘hantam” the drinks @ O bar. My sis‘s Friend got high after 5 tequila neat and me, a little. Heehee!! Think my sis is the most steady one. Could have enjoyed myself a little more but because most of them like R&B, if not we could have go Zouk. Anyway, it was fun on this all girls nite. Supper @ bukit timah,

Club MoMo

Meet up with one of my sec school friend @ MoMo last sat, she just came back from the states for semester break. Quite a good friend for mine, we used to be Boy/Girl band crazy in that phrase of our life. Even form our own dance group for the teens challenge, if all of you can remember, Haha! That’s my teenager life.
We have a little photo taking session in the toilet which was big enough and tastefully designed.
Feels good to catch up with some old friends.
Quite happening over there, it’s a very big club and its very crowded and its very sickening coz I have no space to dance!! And there are always stupid people who like to squeeze with you even though there is obviously no more space. The music that they play is a mixture from trance, hip hop to R&B.

guys, its been a month since i last blog. too busy and lazy to blog.Haha!
life goes on the same. Work is getting more and more sucky but i must psycho myself that i enjoy working. Actually I enjoy my work except for that idiotic manager.TYK!!!! HAiz!

Went for facial this afternoon and its hurt like hell.Nobody to listen to my complain. Just got my pay today and i have already sent part of it on my face. I HATE my face and the PRAWNS for my out break. But other than that the massage feels good and the ambience is really relaxing.

Will be a little busy this two weeks, coz we will be going to batam tis weekend for a cheap and short getaway! And baby, if you are running, our weekly jogging still goes on.Thinking of how am i going to enjoy the holiday bungalow and the many activities in store for me!!! Any one interested to join me? its this coming sat 2 july...Then comes next week, which is my cousin's wedding dinner at Regent. So very busy.

Other of my good friend getting married this year, got her invitation yesterday.Defintely not shotgun cause I was notified last nov. But why are people getting married at the prime of their life? only 23,theres still a lot of things in store for them. Anyway, its my own opinion and i know i am not going to settle down until at least 26.

Hi, got a little bit of problem here.
Dearie's birthday coming and I haven brought him anything thing coz he has not decide on what he wants yet. This guy is so fussy on deciding which model he wants...looking at the Tag Heuer- Formula 1 series, choosing from 6 months ago and still deciding. Looks like I cant get the watch in time. Have to go back to my previous boss to get special discount! and I will be busy this coming week for the roadshow this sat. Got a half day off on your actual birthday, hopefully by then you have made up your mind.

If you like Marche, then you will like this place- The Village coz its has the same concept as Marche. Similar cow mascot, rest layout and menu. A must try will be their Village bake rice!!! Yummy!! Fell in love with it after my dearie told me about the place. I also try the latest foundue in town, not too bad if you like dark chocolate.

A nice place to eat and chit chat in because of the quieter surrounding, fewer crowd then Marche, no queue!! Just had a sec sch gathering and family dinner there! And DBS and OCBC card members are entitled to 15% off the bill!!

Oh YAh, have not mention the location yet. Its at China Square (B1) in Chinatown, Very convenient, few min walk from China town MRT station.

Hi, its me again.
The unhappy women who keeps complaining about everything in her life. I am dealing with a very bad sore on my feet now resulting from a burst bubble if you know what it means. my feet is feeling numb now, wonder if i could wear my shoe for work tml?
Heehee, hope to get a doctor 's letter to exempt me from wearing covered shoe to work. part of our dress code...sianz!

Went to DBS rec club to collect the discounted movie tics today with my sis, yeah!! its $7 per movie instead of $9.50. What a deal!

Next, went to the temple and pray for everyone and that everything will be good and well. Hope that I dont go crazy by my doings... Hey, only i understand what i mean here ( long story to explain)

Brought a few items today, but din really enjoy spending the money.Retail therapy din work for me. got to save up... for what... I am also not sure, maybe for our backpacking to Australia this Aug. Exploring some new career options at Phillip Capital as financial service representative today.Hmmm, feeling a little confused, need some opinion here.

Other things that happened today, I dun wanna talk about it. More anger and disappointment than hunger! My lunch was the only meal of the day.

Lost loser!!

My tears fell for the third time that night.... That night was only yesterday. Once again, i laid in bed, couldn't sleep until i cried myself to sleep. Yesterday was supposed to be a good day. We did something we had been planning for a while. To play badminton together coz we haven been playing since we graduated. Sort of missed it... Went to Chinese Swimming Club with sis and him, had some sporty fun, the toilet is cool,everything was fine and good.

But somethings ' not right somewhere. I wasn't feeling very happy, i felt quite low and down. Don't ask me why? I dun know either.. Is it some onset of depression or mid relationship crisis. I can't figure out whats bothering me... there are so much to worry about and its frustrating trying to figure out what is wrong. And i know its hurting someone close.

What you said was right, its frustrating to keep guessing whats on my mind. Its difficult for you to get close to help and understand me if i dun speak my mind.
How should I really say it? The way our relationship is going is worrying me, its not abt doubting your love for me but women are sensitive creatures and for me, I am not just sensitive but selfish also. I know you love me, but you have other loves of your life too. I am not wanting you to give them up but I am not reacting positively to it. Contradicting isn't it? I belived in my life and i know mine wouldnt be smooth sailing one. It is one full with constant worries and hipcups and thats maybe include my relationship.

Sad to say, but thats how i see my life. Feel like a Loser! and the feeling sucks big time.. I find it hard to please myself, nothing satisfy me. I dun know how to manage these negative thoughts, should i just lower my expectation in life but i think i can't. Its so not ME! its like a betrayal to myself and i cant accept it.
And don't ask me would I be a happier person if I am with someone else.

Help!!
I have some serious problem here and i need some help!! I am feeling discontented about everything, with what I am doing. My life sucks.
It is so unfulfilling and dead!!

Working sucks, being in a relationship sucks, everything sucks!!!!! I want to do something different, challanging and exciting! Maybe I need to do something drastic to change my life. Should I change my priorities in life or commit myself to something new.

Today is my off day, I am lazing at home nw and feeling fat...bluesss.. So boring, weather is so hot that i dun feel like doing anything.

After I started work at the bank, i have been putting on a few kilos. HAving a deskbound job always makes people grow fat. plus! i am too lazy or busy to exercise.

Sometimes, i would prefer some other jobs that can slim me down. Like gym instructor? or i should attend some belly dancing class.heehee!!

MAybe i should i plan some self improvement project for myself!!

I finally got my nose pierced last sat..
Something which i wanted besides a tattoo... Got it done at JB city square with one of my friend and he pay for it!!!! Quite satified with my new look although my boyfriend says I look like a cow. Come on, its a nose stud, not a nose ring. Anyway, one indian customer commented that the nose stud looks nice on me.Hee!!!

Derek And Me

After 3 and a half year together, I realised we how much we love and need each other even though we had the most ridiculous numbers of quarrels over the slightest matter in these past few months. I ignored him for a whole week and went out across the border without telling him... We decided to talk things out and put an end to wats happening. I realised i cant let go, he is such a nice guy and did everything for me but all that i did was to hurt him and the relationship we share. Our talk that night was emotional and serious but we managed to ride over this stormy period... I just wanna thank him for the changes he made and for loving me.
